Class Expectations

Be respectful of:

Come prepared for class. My expectation is that students will show interest in learning Latin, will do the requisite work that they individually require to understand and gain proficiency, and will ask questions when they do not understand.

Questions and discussion are encouraged. Due to our short time together, unrelated disruptions are not welcome.

Classes are aimed at middle school and high school students and assume a measure of maturity and the ability to stay focused for the duration of the class. I want students to be successful and will try to make the class a good match for the students. If, despite these efforts, the class is not a good fit for a student, I may ask that the student withdraw, with the hope that they will try again the following semester. In this event, refunds will be worked out on a case by case basis.

Payments and Refunds

Payment for the semester is due 2 weeks before class starts. If the class you are registering for is full and has a waitlist, you may lose your spot if payment has not been received.

There are no refunds for missed classes or if you join the class late. If the class is dropped in the first three weeks, a prorated refund will be given.

Due to the small number of classes offered, make-ups are not available at this time. If your child will miss a class, please email me to find out what material will be covered.
